The Sortschau app re-designed. From Bundesliga season 21/22 onwards, all matches of the first and second division can be heard in full in the audio stream - as a single game or in a conference. In addition to the top news, the Sportschau app also offers a news ticker, a completely revised live and results center and the new, customizable section “My Sportschau”. The user experience and interface design have been completely re-designed to give the app a modern look and feel.

GROHE AG, one of the world's leading providers of sanitary fittings, presented the ONDUS smart home app in 2017, which features water management. It was launched together with the launch of Sense and Sense Guard, GROHE's first water security system that detects burst pipes, micro-leaks, unusual water consumption and changes in temperature and humidity.
The interface design of the ONDUS app differs fundamentally from similar products in the smart home industry. Using a clear layout grid, consistent color coding and reduced typography, we have developed a modern design language.

Die Neue Vernunft
Website and Magazine

Die Neue Vernunft is an agency for brand and corporate development in Düsseldorf, which primarily deals with transformation processes in companies. My task was the conception and design of the corporate website and the online magazine, which focusses on digital transformation in business and society.

I used Bootstrap as the main framework and created different grid variations for each page to give the magazine an interesting rhythm. The design is supported by SVG illustrations and animations.

Blue Mobile App

Perfectly chilled, sparkling or hot water in no time. This is available from GROHE Blue Home - simply at the push of a button.
Together with the GROHE design team, I worked on the user experience of the Blue Home app. The app offers one-touch using a smart watch, voice control. automatic re-ordering of consumables such as CO₂ or filters, consumption measurement, measured fill, maintenance, cleaning. With the connection to health apps, personal drinking habits can be tracked and improved.

I designed the corporate design and website for the notaries Brücker & Klühs in Düsseldorf, as well as supervising the photo and video shoot. The result is a modern, fresh look that sets itself apart from the competitors.

Stolpersteine NRW
Mobile AR App

Stolpersteine NRW - an app concept for the WDR. With almost 75,000 cobblestones, they are the largest decentralized memorial in the world. With augmented reality functions, the cobblestones come to life - exactly where you are. Photos, videos and texts tell the stories of the deportees. The app is aimed at students, teachers, young adults and those interested in history. Curated tours can be planned and you can actively support the project yourself with donations.
My job was to develop the visual style and the user interface of the app. The visuals are part of the pitch presentation.

Brand Design

Client: RØSTREICH Kaffee
Role: Art Direction, Corporate Design

RØSTREICH, founded by Kai Seemann, offers individual coffee blends that are carefully selected and roasted. The name and branding are inspired by the quote "Coffee must be black as the devil, hot as hell, pure as an angel and sweet as love."
RØSTREICH's style is black and strong. Just like a good espresso.

Interactive Webnovel

Client: Bastei Entertainment
Role: Lead Designer, Art Direction, Digital Art

Apocalypsis is an interactive science fiction novel written by Mario Giordano and published by Bastei Entertainment. The three-season Vatican thriller was released with specially developed reader software for iOS / Android as well as an eBook, audio book and read & listen version.
My task was to create and design the look of the app and the interface. I was also responsible for creating all visuals, graphics, storyboards, illustrations, etc. In close cooperation with the team - consisting of authors, designers, developers, editors, filmmakers - we developed and implemented interactive ideas for the app. Season 1 started in 2010 and ended in 2013 with the third and final season.
